Baltcon is the most significant SF event in the Baltic Sea region. It is held in one of the countries in turn every year. The programme is, traditionally, in the local as well as some international language. It is hoped that multilingual programme will attract more visitors.

Estcon is the most important SF event of the year in Estonia. This is the time fans come together from all over, spend some time in good company and listen to the experts talking about good topics. This is also when the best SF publications in Estonian in the previouse year - the Stalker award - are announced. Estcons have been held since 1998.
